Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of a virtual visit with Remedy Telehealth?

The benefits of virtual visits with Rescue Telehealth include saved time and money spent making appointments, finding childcare and traveling to offices. Visits can conveniently be made by virtual appointment instead of waiting in busy Urgent Cares and Emergency Departments, where exposure to other ill patients is always a risk.

Can Remedy Telehealth Treat Kids?

Yes! Remedy Telehealth can treat minor emergencies and primary care needs in patients ages 2 and up.

Is Telemedicine Safe?

Remedy Telehealth provides the same degree of professional medical care as a traditional Urgent Care office, with the convenience of less wait time, online appointment booking and video visits.
Just like a traditional Urgent Care, our providers need to ask you questions to work out whether it’s safe and appropriate to give you care by virtual visit. If appropriate, we can write a prescription and send it electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

How Will My Information Be Protected?

We have a legal responsibility to keep all of your personal health information private and secure. All electronic medical records, patient communications, virtual video visits and care records are protected using HIPPA compliant software with encryption capabilities.

How much does it cost?

We accept all insurance. If copays are required by your insurance provider, they are due at the time of your appointment. If you are uninsured, there is a flat rate $50 fee per visit.
